Positive: The apartment itself was nice and relativeli quiet. The location quite central. Many cafes and (take-away) restaurants close to the apartment.
Negative: The comminucation with the owner could have been better. We had to pay one whole night (instead of the usual half night), because we arrived early in the morning. Despite having paid the whole night, the owner couldn’t pick us up, even though she had a car (it was literally 2 km).I would expect at least a little service for having paid the whole extra night. Upon arrival there was dirty laundry from the previous person in the washing machine, which we washed… The cleanliness could be better too, we felt like the floors were sticky, so had to clean ourselves. In the kitchen there was not enough cutlery, there was only one steak knife, not a normal knife to eat with. Upstairs neighbours were making a lot of noise in the middle of the night, every single night, this is of course not the owner’s fault, but if you want to sleep, bring earplugs. To top it all off: we wrote two days before that we needed to check-out earlier, because we had to catch the train. The owner didn’t show up, we had to call her to agree where we had to leave the key… All in all our stay would have been better if the owner would stick to appointments, provide some more service and a smile doesn’t look bad on anyone.
